Java Technology Info

A Java™ program in a web page is called an applet. Most web browsers can run Java™ applets/programs. However, this first requires that your computer have a Java run-time environment installed. This is commonly referred to as a Java Virtual Machine or JVM for short.

The releases archives we provide (either demo or full) contains a jar file, HTML code for the applet and PHP script(s) to provide data for the applet.

Here are general steps to install an applet into your site:

  1. unzip the archive file
  2. copy the jar file in any directory on your domain
  3. copy html code for the applet in a file in the same directory you put the jar file with the applet
  4. copy php file in any directory on your site
  5. copy other required files in any directory on your site
  6. modify html code by setting correct URL for all parameters that have links to either php script and/or images
